I have worked in the fitness industry for the last 15 years. I completed my Masters Degree in Exercise Science in 2007. I have worked/managed several commercial health clubs in the past as well as worked at College/University Fitness Centers. I have been employed by the Department of the Navy for the past 4 years. Our primary focus is to keep the military fit for war. We run a Fitness Enchancement Program to help the sailors stay in shape and pass their Physical Readiness test which they must pass twice a year to keep their job. I also do command PT for some of the Submarines and have had 100 sailors at a time in the gymnasium. I was recently certified as a Navy Command Fitness Leader Instructor in Millington, TN (October 2009). I teach many other classes for the civilian population on base such as: Abdominals/Lower Back, Boot Camp, Equipment Orientation, Golf Conditioning, Ski Conditioning and Young Marines (JROTC).
