PAULA NELSON

I am a happily married mother of two boys, Logan and Gavin (8 and 11).I have been employed full-time for the past 19 years as a Probation Officer Supervisor with the State of Connecticut.  I am multi-lingual. I speak English, Portuguese and Spanish.  I am of Portuguese decent and was actually born in Mozambique, Africa.  I immigrated to the United States when I was 4 years old.

I am an avid gym-goer and a certified cycling and group fitness instructor with additional trainings in Spinflex, Stretch and Aqua. I have been teaching at various gyms since 2010. I have been with LA Fitness throught my fitness career. There I have taught a variety of disciplines: Cycling, Bootcamp, Bodyworks and Aqua Fitness.

I have worked with the public my entire career and am a leader and mentor at work in my supervisory capacity. I enjoy harnessing postiive energy during class and leading students through challenging and rewarding experiences.
