I have been playing tennis for a little more then 30+ years. In High School I played in the 1994 Minnesota State Championships, helping my team capture the consolation championship. I played 2 years of collegiate tennis in Minnesota, and twice qualified for the NJCAA National Tennis Tournament in Corpus Cristi, TX. I first started teaching tennis 17+ years ago at the Parks and Rec. level. While attending college at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire I took a job as head youth tennis instructor at the Eau Claire YMCA. While there I realized that tennis is what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I have been the Director of Tennis here at the YMCA since October 2007. I have developed several unique tennis programs including our AAA high performance group, and I am currently working on a collaboration with with LIVESTRONG foundation that would introduce tennis to cancer survivors. I have been married for 9 years, and am the proud father of 2 beautiful little girs.
