With over half of my life dedicated to teaching fitness, I have developed a deep passion for promoting health and wellness through physical activity. I began my career as a teenager, teaching Group Exercise classes, and have since built a fulfilling career around fitness education. Currently, I serve as the Aerobics Coordinator at Loma Linda University Medical Center’s large Recreation Center, where I oversee the Group Exercise Department. In this role, I am responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating all fitness instructors while also teaching a wide range of fitness formats.

Our center offers a diverse array of fitness programs to employees and students of Loma Linda's Medical and Dental Schools, as well as a large external membership base, including a significant senior population. With three outdoor pools, aquatic fitness programs are especially popular, alongside our extensive indoor offerings designed for participants of all levels.

I specialize in teaching Pilates, Yoga, Step Aerobics, Aqua Fitness, HIIT, and Senior-based classes such as Chair Aerobics and Silver Fox Aerobics. I’m committed to providing inclusive and accessible fitness options that support both physical and mental well-being.

In addition to my role at the Rec Center, I am a full-time Elementary School Librarian at a private Christian school, where I also assist with physical education activities and have experience coaching cheerleading and providing fitness training for high school sports teams. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, from children to seniors, and am dedicated to fostering healthy lifestyles in every community I serve.
