Amanda Russell: Olympic-Trained Athlete -Celebrity Fitness Expert, Model, Spokeswoman, Motivational Speaker, and Founder of The AR Program.
You may recognize her from various fitness magazines, billboards or campaigns but Amanda wears many different titles. After coming to the United States (from Canada) on a running scholarship she led a fast-track career of athletic success on track to being an Olympic standout until a major injury four years ago, left her unable to run. Despite this news, Amanda was determined to find a way back, and continue a fit and active lifestyle. She developed her own intensive rehabilitation program to get back into shape. Contrary to doctors’ beliefs, two years later Amanda was running completing and winning triathlons. Having always been a runner, she began learning first-hand how to master multiple workout techniques and test the best workouts for results and fitness. Not only does Amanda have a lifetime of experience as an elite athlete, her injury caused her to spend the past 4 years studying exercise, rehabilitation and figuring out what ‘truly works’.
With her unique background and extraordinary passion, Amanda has defined the new age of fitness and wellness, creating The AR Program, a holistic mind and body system of intense dynamic workouts that has garnered popularity for its ability to achieve immense results in less time. She is a beloved fitness instructor and trainer in New York City and Los Angeles, with a cult following which includes many A-list celebrity followers.
Not just fitness, Amanda works as the spokesperson for a variety of brands. She is the successor to supermodel Molly Simm’s as the spokesperson for ZICO Premium Coconut Water, and the global fitness advisor to Quintessentially (a luxury concierge club). Most recently Amanda has joined forces with Rollerblade as the face and personality behind the upcoming international re-branding campaign.
