Kendal Jessup

I have always had a passion for the fitness industry. I was able to see the relationships my mother built as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, and I saw the transorformations she was able to help her clients make in their lives. While acheiving other goals in my life (a college education, a career, and most recently, a family), I've always remained active in the fitness industry. I love helping people forget about their problems for that hour I have them in class. We have a great time, we burn fat and calories, and they always return wanting more!

I received a Bachelor's degree in Advertising Communications from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Following my graudation, I began working for an advertising agency based out of Salt Lake City. After a year working there, my husband graduated from college, we had our first baby, and we moved back to our home state, Texas, where my husband began law school at Texas Tech. I continued to work (this time from home) from this agency, while raising my son full time. At this same time, I began teaching fitness classes at Texas Tech University, and also started a "Mommy and Me" fitness class at local parks.

After teaching classes at Texas Tech, I was given an opportunity to join an awesome gym chain in Lubbock, and teach the youth. I started a cheerleading class, while continuing to teach other fitness classes.

Once my husband graduated from Texas Tech law school, we moved east, where I started teaching various fitness classes at The Courthouse Athletic Club in Longview, Texas. I finally became a Zumba instructor after going to the classes for years. Zumba is now my fitness passion, though I continue to teach other fitness classes.
