I've come to teaching /instructing a little later in life, but i find that has given my teaching style the human touch . Presently I am 51 years old and have been teaching for about 10 years. My first taste of teaching was as an assistant instructor in the children's class at the kung fu school i was attending (Kudoki Kung Fu Academy in Montreal). There i taught kids as young as 5 and as old as 78. My oldest client was 104 years old when I was doing Sit Fit classes at a golden age home. I love teaching yoga in gyms. There they are interested in the physical attributes of yoga and not the philosophical and meditative aspects of it. and that falls into my way, i believe that the body must be taken care of first, then the spirituality and a freer mind follow at their own pace. I much prefer o leave the other stuff to those that teach that better than me, and to those that want to be taught. I like teaching a mix of yoga and pilates. my classes are made up of mostly yoga with a block of pilates ab workout. I like to put together yoga routines that have a flow to it. Generally starting from standing to balance to hands n knees to sitting to laying down to pilates to twists to sitting forward folds to end. Thank you for considering me
