I am a graduate of the Acupressure Therapy Institute in Quincy, MA and have passed the national certification exam instituted by the NCCAOM. In an effort to remain current and in accordance with the NCCAOM, I participate in continuing education classes and am CPR/AED certified. I am also a member of the AOBTA (Asian and Oriental Bodywork Therapies Assoc) and am fully insured with Marsh and McLennan through the AOBTA. I began my acupressure practice in 2003. Shiatsu Acupressure is a relaxing, healing modality that unblocks energetic channels (meridians) in the body resulting in homeostasis (balance). I have treated clients for a number of issues including: low back pain, neck and shoulder pain/discomfort, mentrual issues, headaches, hip and knee pain, allergies, stress, depression, etc. My clients report a sense of well being and total relaxation after their session. Each session lasts between 45 and 60 minutes. I love to travel and was introduced to your program by Jim Washington. I am upbeat, have a positive attitude, and am very self-motivated. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards, Kathleen Ogar
