Melissa Levingston

I've always been a very active person, therefore health and fitness has been a very important part of my life. Before I was old enough to understand the importance of fitness I found a way to incorporate it into my daily routine. When I was in elementary school I joined the St. Paul Falcon's Drillteam and immediately became the captain of the group and led the team to win several Drillteam competition championships. In highschool I was a cheerleader and formed my own dance group that I named Full Momentum. It has always been a very natural thing for me to give instruction to a large group. Now that I am a Yoga and Group Fitness Instructor I am able to look back and see that I have been practicing for this career almost my entire life. One of the reasons why I am driven to be a successful Fitness Instructor is because I feel as though there are too many people that feel enslaved by their own bodies rather it's by depression, anxiety, obesity or addiction and I want to help them feel free so they can be more productive in all aspects of life and HAVE FUN while doing so.
