Lindsay Hoyt

 

          Lindsay came into her personal Yoga practice after many years of searching for a fulfilling creative outlet.  Always a fitness/wellness enthusiast, what she was able to experience on the mat from a physical, mental and spiritual plain could not be quantified any other way.  After her introduction to the practice, she realized that by embodying Yoga and all that it encompasses her life had begun to take new form in the way of peace, harmony and compassion for herself and others. 

        Always having a nurturing spirit, it was at this point in her life that she knew it would be her karma to in turn share this knowledge with those around her.  In order to show her gratitude for what others had shared with her she started on the path to become a teacher so that she could guide others to awaken to their own personal bliss.  Lindsay hopes that her teaching style will both support and challenge her students as they cultivate their own graceful expression of each asana, truly embodying the yoga practice for themselves. Her classes have been referred to as a “tune-up for your entire being”.  Lindsay has studied to teach Gentle, Restorative, Hatha, Vinyasa (Power) Yoga, Pre-natal, Kid's and Meditation in a way that honors and inspires her students and their individuality.  A lover of cycling Lindsay has recently acquired her certification to lead indoor spinning classes as well.
