James Simpson

Jim is a longtime recovered alcoholic and drug addict. He began his love affair with physical fitness, nutritional balance and spiritual serenity back in the 1980's, while training as a yearly participant in the NYS "TOUGHMAN" competitions. He went on to work as a nutritional consultant for professional body builders looking for non-steroidal, all-natural methods to help them achieve greater success with their personal goals. He has designed and developed several very successful nutritional formulas for both men and women. Jim is certified by the International Fitness Association in personal training, step aerobics, kick-boxing, and group. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), The Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), The International Society of Sports Nutritionists (ISSN) and National Council on Strength & Fitness (NCSF). Jim has trained in Taibo, Yoga and Pilates, as well as TRX and Booty Beat. Jim is certified as a Sports Nutritionist and has developed numerous programs for all body types. He is certified to teach Zumba, Zumba Toning and Aqua Zumba. He studied kinesthetic Tai-Chi and developed Ayo-Chi, (Joyful Energy) based on that practice. He has also designed fitness programs like Fu-shun (a mixed resistance and aerobic training program) and Duo-Dynamics, a couples based program. Jim looks forward to designing fitness and wellness programs for local, state and federal organization later in his career. He is available for personal or group training session, as well as, health and fitness lectures.
