I'm certified as a Zumba fitness instructor in both Zumba and Zumba Gold. I've been working in snowbird country, Sanibel, FL. at the Sanibel Community House last summer with a collborating Zumba instructor. Together we were successful in advertisng, marketing and raising funds for the American Heart Association last February with a ZUMBA Hearty Party.  We then held weekly one hour classes at the center on Tuesday and Thursdays.  We plan to increase that to a six one hour classes this fall. When one of us is unable to attend a class or goes on vacation, the other subs. It has worked quite well for us as we attend each others classes when we can and have gotten to know the participants. Working in a resort atmosphere has given me the opportunity to lead classes with a variety of participants of different level of ZUMBA, so I try to teach to the majority of the class and give examples of both hi and low "moves" for all the participants to choose what works best for them.

I enjoy bicycling, snowskiing, hiking and traveling in my spare time with family and friends.

This summer I plan to teach at least one class at a local gym here in NJ. I'm also planning on take some personl training classes.
