My name is Rachel, and I am a certified 200 hr RYT, PiYo™ and Spin instructor. I trained as a Fitness Instructor in the UK before moving to the US in 2003, and since moving here I have expanded into Spinning, Yoga and PiYo™ as I have found these to be great forms of exercise which have helped me personally, and which I'm excited to be able to share with others.
I obtained my 200 hr RYT through YogaFit and am also certified to teach seniors and kids as well as adults.
In 2010 I started my own business, Yoga-Keeps-Me-Fit LLC (www.yogakeepsmefit.com) as a way of helping people learn Yoga in the comfort of their own homes. I also teach at a number of local gyms and studios. I live in South East Connecticut, and as a mom to a college student and high schooler, I know that life can get busy and exercise and wellness can be one of the first things to suffer. However I've also learned that getting the right balance in your life can be one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself.
I hold certifications in Spin, Yoga and PiYo (a combination of Pilates & Yoga), and am trained in First Aid, CPR and use of AED's.
