Carl van Coppenhagen

1982 - graduated high school in Stellenbosch, South Africa, 1983-86 - served in south african defence force, 1987-1992 - played collegiate tennis at Belhaven College in Jackson, MS and received bachelor of Science degree, 1993- 1996 - attended graduate school and coached the tennis team at Delta State University in Cleveland, MS - recieved Masters of Education degree - 1997-2005 - was director of tennis at Hattiesburg Country Club in Hattiesburg, MS,  2006 -2007 - trained at Peter Burwash International in Carmel, CA and worked at Caneel Bay on St. John, USVI, 2007-present - opened a wine retail and wholesale and import/export business. Have stayed active in the tennis industry since 2007 and kept up my USPTA and PTR certification. I currently oversee the tennis operations at Canebrake Country Club in Hattiesburg, MS where I teach weekly adult group and private lessons. I most recently was the consultant in the hiring of a new Tennis director for the Hattiesburg Racquet Club ( March 2014). In 2014 I was chosen as a Prince Tennis team member.
