- Randa Downs
Randa Downs has been a student of yoga for over seven years. Believing strongly in the power of yoga to change lives, Randa has been sharing her yoga as an instructor for the past three years. She completed her teacher training at the Asheville Yoga Center in Asheville, NC, under the direction of Stephanie Keach. She is currently registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour level, having completed over 260 hours of instructor training to date. Her teaching style is a unique blend of Vinyasa Flow, Iyengar, and Anusara yoga styles and her varied training enables her to adapt her teaching style to the diverse needs and goals of individual students. Randa also holds a certification in pre- and post-natal yoga, and attributes the uncomplicated, drug-free brith of her son to the practice of yoga throughout her pregnancy. Randa also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA and a Master of Education degree from the University of South Carolina at Columbia, and puts her knowledge of both fields into practice as a fitness professional.
