I received my bachelor's degree in Exercise Science in 1998, becoming an ACE-certified personal trainer during the last year of undergrad. I worked as a trainer part-time throughout graduate school, as well as maintained an assistantship in teaching and research at the University of Nebraska Omaha. While in graduate school I earned my ACSM Health and Fitness Instructor certification. Before I completed my master's degree, my husband accepted a job in St. Louis. While living there from 2001-2005 I trained clients in their home while also training clients at a JCC. in 2005 I completed training in STOTT PILATES Matwork, and in 2006 training for STOTT PILATES Reformer, and have been teaching both ever since, while still conducting personal training. I currently own a studio in which I personal train, teach Pilates privately and in classes, and instruct barre classes. In 2010 I became a power vinyasa yoga instructor and teach this style of yoga privately and in class format as well.
