My first yoga experience was some 16 years ago. One of the first classes I took was the Ashtanga Primary Series led by Fiona Stang in Vancouver. At the time I had no idea what yoga was about, but I felt I tapped into something powerful. It has been part of my life ever since.
I have a strong desire to share the physical practice that has led me to study yoga in more depth at The Yoga Sanctuary taking the 250-hour yoga teacher program. I have taken workshops and endless amounts of classes across the globe. By trade I am a graphic artist and I enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle with running, cycling and dance movement.
My poison of choice is Hatha Vinyasa and Ashtanga, moving through postures with synchronized breath. Life can be serious as it is, yoga helps you re-discover your roots and the lightness of being. It lets you explore your body on a more playful level. My goal for my students is to be able to transform their practice from an ordinary into an extraordinary experience.
