Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Lindsay moved to Toronto in 2006 and fell in love with pilates after her very first workout at Core. Always an active person, but never a fan of the gym, she knew that there was something different when she loved going to pilates. She saw remarkable changes in her body and believes that all of her clients can experience the same.
Lindsay’s classes are full of energy and intensity, her positivity and passion come across in each class that she teaches. She has an athletic way of teaching while still maintaining the basic principles of pilates. She believes that any form of exercise done witha these principles in mind will be more effective and tries to incorporate these principles into her clients’ everyday life.
Lindsay’s goal in becoming an instructor was to give others the same feeling that she felt when she left her first session. Her greatest accomplishment is seeing the confidence that her clients gain through moving their bodies in ways they may not have previously thought possible. She feels so lucky to assist people through life’s journeys - whether for overall fitness or from coming back from having a baby, getting ready for their wedding, or recovering from an injury. To her teaching is not work, it is truly a gift.
