According to the Teachings of Abraham, “the basis of life is Freedom; the purpose of life is Joy”. After working for over thirty years in the healthcare industry I believe this more today than ever. In 1994 I was invited to go to the gym with a coworker. I knew the physical exercise was good for me but I had no idea of the mental and emotional benefits associated with working out. The feelings of exhilaration, energy, euphoria and overall well being were amazing. I was hook and became a workout enthusiast. Over the years I have continued a regular workout routine consisting of running, strength training, Yoga, Zumba, aqua aerobics, step classes and more. My dream is to teach a variety of group fitness classes. Having the opportunity to travel and teach what I love would be a dream come true. I want to create unique and fun classes for all ages and fitness levels. At a recent Empowerment and Success meeting, we were asked to draft our life purpose statement with an “I am” metaphor which captures its essence. Mine is “I am the touch that rejuvenates the body, mind and soul. “It’s My Time”.
