Amy FitzGerald

Amy Boiselle FitzGerald has a BA in Communications from NC State University and is currently working on her Masters of Social Work also at NC State University. Growing up, Amy was a gymnast thus yoga was a natural progression for her. Amy began practicing yoga in 1996 at the suggestion of her brother and fell in love with the practice. In 2003, she received her General Training Certificate from the NC School of Yoga and in 2004, she received her advanced training certificate. Amy is also a runner, having completed both a half and full marathon, thus she enjoys working with runners and athletes, sharing valuable information for balance and healing. Amy can teach all yoga levels from beginners to advanced. She likes to incorporate humor and humility in her teaching and a reverence for this ancient science of yoga. Amy is 44 years old and has been married to Patrick FitzGerald since 2006. They have a beautiful two year old daughter Phoebe who was adopted from Ethiopia in 2010.
