I have worked in the the fitness field for 34 years as a physical therapist, personal trainer and Pilates instructor. I have extensive experience in strength training, rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation and orthopedic injury. I have worked in the acute hospital setting, private out- patient clinics, and have presented professional workshops for physical therapists and trainers. I have authored 2 fitness books-- " On a Roll @ Home, Home Exercises for Core Strength and Massage on the Foam Roller" and also " Age Perfected Pilates- Mat Exercises Designed to Improve Posture, Strength and Movement". Currently I own my own Pilates business where I provide mat classes and reformer training for fit clientele and rehab clients. I perform regular workshops for the community and also for clinics. My mat classes include formats in Pilates using the foam roller, bands, balls, stability balls, weighted balls, yoga straps, gliding discs, magic circles and most recently hula hoops.
