Sara Nelson, certified Stott Pilates Matwork instructor, has been teaching Pilates for 14 years.  In New York, Sara teaches both group classes and private classes.  She teaches at various gyms and through continuing education programs.  Pilates is a great form of low-impact exercise, which lengthens and strengthens your muscles. It firms up your abdominals, protects and strengthens your lower back, and increases your flexibility.  It is very relaxing.  It helps to clear your mind.  This class is appropriate for all fitness levels, and the instructor can give modifications to make exercises easier or harder, based on ability.
