Upon graduating college, I worked as a marketing consultant and office sales represetative. I then had children and chose to stay home with them while they are little. After my children reached school age, I needed to seek work that had flexability, I decided to go to massage school. I have always been athletic and very interested in body mechanics and muscle function, massage seemed to be the perfect fit. After finishing the program and obtaining my licence in Oregon, I began work at Mcmenamins, Ruby's Spa, where I have been practicing massage for the past 5 years. I am a specialist in Swedish Massage, body wraps, scrubs and foot treatments. I have taken many continuing education courses, and am now interested in furthering my knowledge in Sports massage. I am an avid runner and to give back, will be donating my time to race events by preforming massage on athelets, novice and elites alike. Massage to me, is grounding and energy evoking at the same time. I have extreem passion for what I do and my ability to engage others to become more aware of their own bodies.
