Suzi is co-founder and Company Manager of World Dance
Theatre, a not-for-profit professional dance company, and she and her
colleagues strive to bring the beauty of international dance and music to a
wider audience. With a philosophy
that the arts are what we have in common with people throughout the world,
World Dance Theatre transcends racial and national barriers through
performances and workshops.
Suzi currently conducts curriculum-based international dance residencies in the New York City school system through World Dance Theatre. She has taught acting and improv for the SUNY Purchase Youth Theatre Program and Continuing Education Department, and for the Music Conservatory of Westchester. She has stage-managed and worked backstage at such Off-Broadway theatres as the Ensemble Studio Theatre and Manhattan Theatre Club. She has choreographed a number of regional theatre productions, and has been a guest teacher for companies throughout New York City. She has written, produced and performed sketch comedy, and currently dances with Pat Cannon's Foot and Fiddle Dance Company.
Her current passion is fitness through dance, so she embraces Zumba as a fun way for people to get fit. She is ACE-certified in Group Fitness and conducts classes throughout Westchester in Zumba and other toning styles.
