Christine Crews

 

Just a few things you might hear Christine say during a class or training session are: “Plan to be Positive,” “If you believe it, it will happen,” and “Become accountable; the first step is to walk through the door.” Christine feels privileged to have a job that she loves, one that allows her to help people change their lives for the better. As your trainer and instructor, her personal goal is to help you achieve your lifestyle goals through daily encouragement and a proven plan. She will become your instant friend and motivate you toward success.

 

Christine began her fitness career as a spin instructor, which led her to pursue her personal training certification from AFAA. She is also certified in group instruction, yoga, Pilates, and kickboxing. Over the years, she has proven herself by achieving accolades while working at the YMCA as a fitness coordinator, personal trainer, and fitness instructor, all while managing instructors and schedules. Some of her past clients include winners from the club's version of the hit television show “The Biggest Loser,” marathon runners, and clients who once dreaded working out but, with her help, became dedicated to their health, reaching their goals, and making lasting changes. It brings Christine great pride to see her clients come to love the process as they experience the incredible results that hard work delivers.

 

On a more personal note, Christine is married to the love of her life, and together they have two successful, grown children. With family and strong, supportive people in her life, she attributes her "I can and I will" attitude. As a trainer and through her own personal trials, she encourages both herself and her clients not to make excuses.

 

Join her class and get it done! Work a little harder to create a workout that puts a smile on your face. The journey is the reward, and Christine's greatest joy is seeing her clients reach their goals and improve their lifestyles.
