Gina DeCroix Russell

Gina DeCroix Russell is the ballet mistress for the Springfield Ballet Company, is an instructor/choreographer at Dance Arts Studio, Inc., and has taught as an assistant instructional professor of dance at Illinois State University in their School of Theatre - Department of Dance. 

She holds an M.A. in Communication from the University at Illinois at Springfield and a B.A. in Dance Performance from ISU.

Gina is a licensed Zumba Fitness Instructor.

In addition to her extensive dance background, Gina is an avid "newbie" runner. She recently completed her second half-marathon (in 1:58:51!) in April 2012, and ran her first marathon in October 2011.
