- Meghan Dimsa
My name is Meg Dimsa, and I am currently the Assistant Director of Yates Field House and the Director of Fitness for Georgetown University Students, Faculty, Staff, and Community Members. I previously received my B.S. degree in Sport Psychology from West Virginia University in 2003 and an M.Ed. in Kinesiology from Bowling Green State University in 2005. I hold multiple accredited National Personal Trainer Certifications, Strength and Conditioning Certifications, as well as Group Fitness Instructor Certifications. With a strong educational background in exercise psychology, I always emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach to exercise.
Before joining the team at Georgetown University, I was the Manager of Fitness and Facilities at the University of Missouri (MizzouRec). During my four wonderful years at Mizzou, I managed all areas of fitness including Personal Training, Group Fitness, Preventative Maintenance, equipment purchasing, and fitness staff management.
With a diverse educational and professional background, I strive to enhance the lives of others through an individualized and holistic approach to physical fitness, while adding exciting and alternative workouts!
