I am passionate about health and wellness obtained through nutrition, fitness, and an overall healthy lifestyle and I hope to inspire and educate others about things they can do to improve their health. I enjoy both taking and teaching group fitness classes of all kinds. I began my group fitness journey about 7 years ago in a prenatal yoga class and have continued taking yoga classes until the present. After joining Gold's Gym as a member, I was enthusiastic about group fitness and decided to become certified in Bodyflow by Les Mills. Currently, I instruct Bodyflow; a yoga/tai chi/pilates class, and I instruct a freestyle water aerobics class. I teach 2 classes of Bodyflow and 1 class of water aerobics a week and have been at Gold's gym for 2 years. I obtained my AFAA group fitness certification in October of 2010. I am currently awaiting certification in another Les Mills program, Coreworx; a complete core work out. I have AFAA CEC's towards yoga as well.
