I began practicing yoga 10 years ago as a way to get back in shape. I found there were countless benefits from a regular yoga practice, like calming the mind, strengthening the body and improving focus, that I kept going and haven’t stopped since. I attended my first yoga retreat in 2006 with John Schumacher, in Negril Jamaica and I never felt better following a vacation! It was then that I learned the value of practicing yoga in resort like settings and I knew that I wanted to teach yoga in this way. Presently, I am a 500hr RYT, with the Yoga Alliance. My credentials also include Mommy and Me Yoga Certification, “Tai Chi for Arthritis” and “Exercise for Arthritis” through the New York Arthritis Foundation. I have been teaching for three years in Manhattan both private and group classes in yoga studios, health clubs, and hotel exercise facilities. My experience also includes 2 years developing and implementing a successful summer program for West Hampton Beach resort. Currently, I am seeking more opportunities to teach yoga abroad and would love the opportunity to work with your company.
