I have been a fitness professional since 2004 when I received my ACE Group Exercise certification. Since that time I also received my certification in ACE Personal Training, Yogafit, Nautilus Cycling, Silver Sneakers, Les Mills, and ZUMBA. I enjoy creating challenging fitness classes (see above for a list of formats I have taught) for clients. As a personal trainer, I specialize in weight loss. I have a particular passion for showing people the benefits of weight training and its role in long term body transformation. I also have experience training young girls for a 5K through the national 'Girls on the Run' self esteem and running program. On my own I have run several races, including 5ks, 10ks, half marathons, and adventure races. I am currently training for my first triathlon. I am an elementary school librarian by day. My schedule allows me to teach 6-8 classes a week as well as train or meet with clients for fitness coaching. In my spare time I like to run, bike, swim, read, cook, and travel with my husband!
