I am originally from Minnesota and have always loved being active. I became very interested in the health field while working at my student health center as an undergrad. I quickly changed my major to Community Health and soon realized that I had a knack for making people feel comfortable and helping them make smarter and healthier decisions. I thought I'd be perfect to work in a fitness center and be that first point of contact for peoples health and wellness.
I attended graduate school within the same week I graduated from undergrad, and while at UWF, I found the confidence to become a fitness instructor. I attended a course called, GFIT, Group Fitness Instructor Training, with a group of other enthusiasts, studied and took the AFAA exam in Atlanta. The rest of history! I've been teaching ever since, and loving it ever since.
It makes me feel so good and so proud to help make other people feel amazing about their bodies and minds!
