Kory Putman

Tennis Director/Head Pro

Kory Putman is a USPTA member since 2000 with a Professional 1 rating. He has been teaching tennis for over 10 years, and comes from Idaho where he was the Tennis Director in Twin Falls Idaho. As director, he developed state ranked players that went on to play at the collegiate level. Kory Putman joined the Idaho Women's Tennis coaching staff at the start of the 2009-10 season.

Putman has been Head Tennis Pro in Lake Placid, NY and worked in the Hamptons, NY. He was the assistant Head Pro at Fripp Island Tennis Resort, SC.  He attended Santa Barbara City College and finished his B.A in finance with minors in accounting and Spanish at the University of Idaho. Putman is also received his M.Ed. in Education with an emphasis in business education.

As a junior, he played the Open circuit in the Pacific Northwest and traveled through western and central Mexico for one year playing various tournaments. Putman continues to play competitively at all levels.

Putman was born in Auburn, Wash. He is married to his wife Christy and the couple has a 2-year old son named Kaden also he enjoys hiking, camping, running and golf.
