Doramarie Golanoski

I am a 2002 graduate of Penn State University, University Park, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education as well as minors in Art History and Dance. I am also a 2005 graduate of Immaculata University, Immaculata, Pennsylvania, with a Master of Arts degree in Administration/Educational Leadership. I taught dance throughout my four years of college and continued to teach until 2004 while being employed as a high school art teacher. In the summer of 2004, I moved to Northern Virginia and began a career as a high school art and dance teacher. I completed my Dance Teaching Certificate for the State of Maryland in 2006 by attending George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia, to begin the dance program at Walter Johnson High School, Bethesda, Maryland, in 2006 as part of the Physical Education Department. While on maternity leave, I taught three dance classes at George Mason University as a substitute dance teacher.

Currently, I am a stay-at-home mom enjoying my sons Zachary and Gabriel, 5, and Dominik, 1. I teach one Zumba class, one Zumba Toning class and two Aqua Zumba classes at Freedom Aquatic and Fitness Center in Manassas, VA.  Additionally, I volunteer teach Zumbatomic classes at my boys' preschool.  I fell in love with Zumba and can't wait to share my passion with others!
