I have been practicing yoga for over 12 years as part of my quest towards improving my physical fitness and developing a healthier lifestyle.  I am also a Women's Weight Release Coach and help my clients release the excess weight and body fat, as well as the limiting beliefs that negative, self-sabotage patterns, so that they can step into a lighter, vibrant, more peaceful and energized version of themselves.  Since first starting to practice yoga, I discovered its power to bring balance, peace, and harmony into my life.  I decided to pursue formal training to teach yoga to enable me to share the mind-body-spirit benefits of yoga to others.  When I teach a yoga class, my intention to to provide a safe, comfortable environment where everyone feels free to cultivate their own experience of yoga and to find their own expression of the various yoga postures.  I like to provide a class that offers a mixture of postures that challenge the comfortable edge of mind and body, as well as postures that nurture.  Yoga is not just about strengthening and stretching the body, but also about cultivating focus, self-awarenes, self-acceptance, and discovering inner strength.  That's the experience I seek to offer my students in every class I teach.
