Alison Cameron

I started dancing when I was three years old and have experience with jazz, tap, ballet, belly dance, kick line, Latin, hip hop, techno, crunk, Bollywood / Indian, and more. I received my BS degree in Ethnic Studies for International Human Needs and Services from Minnesota State University, Mankato. I received my MA degree in International Policy and Development and a Certificate of Development Project Management from the Monterey Institute of International Studies. I can speak English, Arabic and German, and lived in Germany for 9 months and Jordan for 1 1/2 year. I have about 2-3 years of experience putting together small- and large-scale events having to do with dance or choreography. I have 3-5 years of experience working in the international development field, ranging from humanitarian aid, disaster relief, refugees, resettlement, environment and sustainability projects. I am currently working for a humanitarian organization in Minnesota, and pondering the idea of the fitness industry and going back to school for Nutrition. I have been CPR and first aid certified for 3 years and became a Zumba instructor in August 2010. I recently got certified in Aqua Zumba and Zumba Toning as well.
