Martha Williams began practicing yoga in 2000 and
deepened her practice while working at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and
Health (2005-present). She received her yoga teacher training through
the YogaSpirit School of Yoga, learning a blend of Iyengar and Kundalini
yoga traditions. Her classes are strongly influenced by her Kripalu
experience, and she provides clear guidance on alignment and the
intention of the postures. The classes offer a thoughtful blend of
centering, stretching, asana and deep relaxation. Students leave class
feeling refreshed, renewed and relaxed.
Martha holds a Master of Social Work from Fordham University and is currently enrolled in a Shamanic Apprenticeship course with Dory Cote in Maine.
