I am a 41 year old mother of two boys, 15 and 11 years old. I have been involved and working in the fitness industry since the mid 1980's. I started my fitness career teaching Aerobics, Jazzercise, and specialty target-area classes. While raising my sons, I personally trained many women back to a comfortable fitness level after giving birth. I have worked in many areas of fitness including group instruction, personal one-on-one instruction, and fitness facilty management. My love of yoga began 7 years ago and has expanded physically and educationally with professional instruction. I am familiar with all aspects of Yoga and thoroughly enjoy sharing my love of Yoga with beginners thru advanced. I have the natural capacity to modify my class format to meet the needs of all who attend. This ensures that all who participate will not be injured and recieve the best possible instruction available. I am a certified Group fitness Instructor with the Aerobic and Fitness Association of Amercian. I hold a current CPR certification. I am a registered 200 hour Yoga Alliance Yoga Instructor, presently working towards my 500 hour certification. I am a Certified, Registered Yoga teacher through the New York Wellness Group specializing in Rahini Yoga. I am certified through Fitour as a Pilates Primary Mat Instructor, allowing me to create a class formet that incorporates Yoga and Pilates to strengthen the core muscles. I also teach Fitball/Stability Ball classes that are fun but challenging. I consider myself an example of health and fitness. My Love of Yoga is apparent in my personal and professional life. I hope I have the opportunity to share it with many and be inspiring.
