Rachael Plaine

Rachael grew up in the Berkshires dancing and performing locally with Cantarella School of Dance and Terpsichore Dance Center in Pittsfield, MA. She went on to study dance at summer programs at Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, MA, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival in Becket, MA, and the University of Colorado at Boulder, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Dance from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst.

At UMass, Rachael was a member of the Theatre Guild, vice president of the Ballroom Dance Club and competed at collegiate ballroom dance competitions around New England with the UMass Ballroom Dance Team. Rachael went on to teach dance at the Summit School of Dance in Frisco, CO, and perform with the San Diego Gulls Girls Dance Team, and Positive Energy Dance Company, a Salsa / Argentine Tango performance team in San Diego, CA.

Since returning to the Berkshires, Rachael has continued to be actively involved in theatre and dance, performing locally with the Town Players of Pittsfield, Berkshire Bateria, Aglet Theatre Company, and choreographing for Berkshire Theatre Festival.



In addition to being passionate about dance and movement Rachael is also a full-time Realtor with her family owned business United Country - Property Events, advisory member for the Realtors Young Professional Network, alumni of the Berkshire Leadership Program and board member for the USA Dance Berkshire County Chapter. She is a certified Zumba Instructor and a 200-hour certified yoga teacher through Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Stockbridge, MA.
