Stefanie Spilde

I am 23 years old and I am currently completing my master's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology. I hold a bachelor of science degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of WI-La Crosse. Years of dance training that began when I was a child lead me to try my hand first, at being a professional dancer. I traveled with JFK dance for a few years and performed at various events such as the Citrus Bowl and the Outback bowl. During this time I was encouraged to try teaching group fitness as my knowledge of dance was a natural lead in. I trained first as a hi/lo and step instructor. I then moved on to college where I worked for various places such as private gyms and community rec programs. I gained experience teaching everything from spin and kickboxing to yoga and Pilates. My dance training has always stayed with me and I love to teach specialty classes such as funk and salsa aerobics. During college I also worked as a professional dancer for an arena football team. During this time I had the chance to travel to Hedo II as an enterainment pro with my girls, the Lady Cats. I am now finishing up my graduate program by interning as a physiologist in a cardiology program at a large trauma I hospital. I love to travel and look forward to putting my skills to use on a fun filled vacation in the sun.
