Two years ago I found myself being very out of shape and overweight. I knew I needed to do something about it and that's when I attended my first Zumba class. I was afraid at first, but once I got in the class, I absolutely LOVED it. I started to attend Zumba at my gym three days a week. After a year of attending Zumba, I knew that I wanted to become an instructor and help other people on their weight loss journey and show them that working out can be fun! To date, I have lost 70 pounds and I can honestly say that a lot of my weight loss was due to Zumba!
