I graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Kinesiology in 2000. After graduation I managed Children’s Fitness Programs at Philadelphia Sports Club and was a Personal Trainer. I also taught swim lessons and assisted in the programming and teaching of sports and fitness in the Summer Camp program.
In 2001 I become the Fitness Director at Cornerstone Health and Fitness in Doylestown,PA. I managed the Personal Training department and taught group exercise classes including Pilates Mat and Reformer. I briefly left the Fitness Industry for a Corporate job and found that my passion lies in working with people to help them reach their health and fitness goals. I went back to Cornerstone Health and Fitness as an Internal Marketing Director and Pilates Instructor.
In 2008 I moved to San Francisco with my boyfriend. Since then, I have been teaching Pilates Mat and Reformer classes and working with Personal Training clients.
I believe there is something in Fitness for everyone. You have to find out what works for you, what you have fun with, and I love helping people do that! I think it is important to realize that your health is the greatest gift you have been given and you should take time everyday to exercise and eat well.
