I have been teaching fitness classes since 2010, and have been active all my life. From swim team, to being co-captain of the tennis team in high school, all the way to leading an active lifestyle today, it has always been important to me to be healthy and happy, and I love to share my enthusiasm of fitness with others. Zumba(R) is my one true love, and it is the best way that i can convey a fun, effective workout using just music and movement. I teach Basic Zumba(R) along with Zumba(R) Gold and Aqua Zumba(R). I have taught aqua aerobics at the YMCA I work at, in addition to being a certified lifeguard for four years. I try to encourage others to keep on track with their personal fitness goals. I am currently working toward becoming an AFAA certified personal fitness trainer. I am currently AFAA primary group exercise certified, along with being Virtus Certified, recently completed my Bachelors in Psychology from Kent State University, and I am proficient in American Sign Language. I love people, and want to make connections to encourage them on their journey to leading a healthy lifestyle.
