Shawn Slade is The S.H.A.P.E Coach
Shawn Slade is a Holistic Lifestyle and Strength Coach and creator of the S.H.A.P.E Coaching Principles he uses to increase strength, function and optimal health with his personal clients. Exclusively working out of Life By Design Strength and Conditioning, a premier functional strength facility in the London’s North end. The mission of the S.H.A.P.E Coaching Principles is to create awareness about Total Health within Canada through blogs, seminars and trade conventions. Shawn’s educational background along with over 5 years professional experience as a Personal Trainer has given him a unique and refreshing perspective on health and fitness. He is committed to ongoing education so that he may continue to deliver a service that is based on results proven methodologies that create life long lifestyle change.
Qualifications
Holistic Lifestyle Coach through the Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology (CHEK) Institute of Vista California and uses detailed assessments and client evaluations to coach clients through the steps to a healthier lifestyle.
Personal Training Specialist - Canadian Fitness Professionals
Shawn is currently pursuing his Poliquin International Certification Program. This designation is one of the highest recognitions of excellence in performance exercise and corrective assessments.
Shawn has also completed a number of other courses for which he has gained knowledge in Fascial Stretch Therapy, Nutrition and much more.
Shawn has an Honours Bechelor of Commerce degree and a Graduate Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Windsor. His focus during his graduate degree was the international political economy of agriculture and food. Shawn recognizes the link between a healthy planet and having a healthy body. His education as well as growing up on a farm has given him the background to create awareness and encourage engagement in the area of sustainable organic farming. Shawn is a member of the Weston A. Price Foundation.
