Yoga has been a important aspect of my llife for the last 13 years. I know the importance of getting acquainted with your breath to help calm your mind and give the mind something to focus on so we don'rt check out. I know the importance of meditation so we can learn about ourselves and monitor our thought patterns as we learn to sit with what comes up for us. I also recognzie how important it is to move the body to help release the energy and encourage the movement and flow of prana.
I teach in drug and alcohol treatment centers which allows me the space to be fully authentic, teach from a place of integrity and offer yoga in a way that helps us heal our inner and outer body.
I am trained in many traditons of yoga including but not limited to, kundalini, bhakti, tantra and hatha. I integrate all of these into my teachings because I believe we shouild never limit ourselves. All of these styles come from different lineages which just help us acquire better knowlege of who we are.
