Goal: An Aquafit Instructor’s position.

Summary:

I have been a fitness enthusiast my entire life and kicked it up a notch when I joined the Brampton YMCA in 2000. I took their Fitness Leadership program in 2001 and began teaching Spin classes in 2002.

In 2007, I became interested in the benefits of Aquafit and became an instructor at the Brampton YMCA in 2008.

Since then, I have also been certified by the Canadian Aquafitness Leaders Alliance Inc. (CALA) and now teach both Aquafit and Water Running classes at the Brampton and Hamilton YMCAs, Club Meadowvale in Mississauga, the City of Brampton, the City of Mississauga and the town of Halton Hills.

I have completed my Standard First Aid with CPR-C.

In addition, I have been quite involved in fundraising for the YMCA, helping them to raise thousands of dollars each year for their Strong Kids Campaign.

I presently sit on the boards for TV Hamilton and the Heart House Hospice in Brampton and Mississauga.
