- Alyssa Danca
Alyssa graduated from Illinois State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Sociology. In addition to the standard CPR/AED and first aid certifications, Alyssa is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and a certified group exercise instructor through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). She is also a Zumba Fitness® instructor, Schwinn Indoor Cycling instructor, Les Mills Body Pump instructor, and Master Balletone® Ambassador. Alyssa has been teaching group exercise and personal training for a combination of six years, and truly enjoys sharing her knowledge and helping others achieve their goals.
Alyssa is very passionate about health and fitness, and enjoys attending professional development conferences to stay up to date on new trends in the industry. She also recently started to incorporate running into her fitness routine, and completed her first ever 5k and 8k this past year! Alyssa believes that the key to continuing health is a commitment to a healthy way of life, which encompasses lifelong fitness, a healthy diet, and overall wellness. She personally enjoys coaching and motivating others to lead healthy, happy lives and strives to do so herself. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, trying new restaurants, and shopping!
