Joseph Ogilvie

My name is Joe Ogilvie and I live in upstate New York, in an old grist mill with my wife and our four children.  I am 51 years old and have been in fitness since I was 29.  I have taught thousands of group instruction classes and have had a very successful personal training business in New York City.  I teach now at two health centers in the Berkshires close to my home.  These are Berkshire West Athletic Center and Canyon Ranch Spa, for whom I have been working since it opened in 1989.  I can show you an entire book of postive guest comments;  I love teaching and guests and clients return to my classes for years and years.

My priority now is my family life and the raising of our young children.  Now in fitness I focus on the two things which I enjoy most;  table tennis and teaching aqua aerobics.  I manufacture and provide a piece of resistance equipment for pool classes which is used in a handful of spas around the world, including Canyon Ranch, and I would be happy to provide this as a special feature for use at your facility as well.  I love to do the combination of a vigorous aqua aerobics class followed by a gentle stretch/yoga class.  I also love to coach in table tennis, a sport which has been rising rapidly in popularity.

I would like to work with your facility because I want to travel with my family to family-oriented locations where my kids can stay and play.
