During college I found yoga and was intrigued by my new found practice; the rhythmic flow of a vinyassa appealed to me more than running on a treadmill.  I immediately saw the mental and physical benefits of yoga.  I moved to Chicago in 2004 and found Bikram yoga.  I maintained my practice over the course of 7 years before I decided to share the wonderful experience, and benefits, that yoga has to offer.  In October 2010 I pursued Power Teacher Training at Core Power Yoga.  Power Yoga is taught in a heated room and provides a rigorous vinyassa practice for students.  I enjoy teaching students at all levels and I'm truly passionate about living a healthy life style.  I'm is always looking for ways to expand on my practice and incorporate concepts outside of yoga into my classes to keep things interesting.

I teach vinyassa style yoga, yin yoga (sustained stretches while seated) and I enjoy participating in boot camps to help people take their fitness to the next level.
