Jody Zimmerman

My educational background consists of a BS in Chemical Engineering and an MBA.  I founded and grew an environmental consulting firm in 1987, grew it to 75 employees and 5 offices, and sold it in 1994.  After that I started an import company and imported high end decorative accessories from China.  I closed that company in 2001 to pursue commercial real estate.  I now own 50% of a commercial real estate firm that employs 25 people.

My althletic activities have included:  competitive swimming from the age of 7 until 18; competiting in triathlons and marathons during my 20's and 30's; yoga 5 or more times a week since my late 30's.  Two years ago I decided that teaching yoga was a path I wanted to pursue.  I teach all levels of yoga now and focus on providing yoga classes which honor my students individual ranges of motion while building strength in their muscles.
