Jessica Doherty

I have been a licensed Zumba instructor since November 2011. I studied dance, singing and acting for many years, earning a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Theatre from Adelphi University in 2008. Personal and family health-issues lead me to explore the health and fitness field. Eventually, I was joined the team at  Fitcorp, a health club in Boston, MA, where I started as a full time customer service representative, and went on to become the Group Fitness Director. As Group Fitness Director, I discovered the high demand for great Zumba instructors, and decided to give it a try myself. It's so exciting to have been able to blend my love for the performing arts with my passion for fitness through the Zumba Fitness program. My favorite thing about teaching Zumba is that anyone can do it and everyone has fun!
